My special business
About 5 years ago my brother-in-law asked me to build him a web site to help him sell Diesel Parts to the general public instead of just Garages.
I built the website to be as simple as possible with the best photographs of the parts concerned. This I hoped would enable the public to identify the part they wanted with a good degree of certainty.
Then we worked out a pricing poilicy to compensate me for my work and went live.
We have been very popular and have found by looking at other similar websites that we are consistently amongst the lowest priced suppliers.
At the same time, the manufacturer, Flag - Germany is one of the highest quiality manufacturers in the replacement parts trade.
We called ourselves Flag Diesel to relate back to our manufacturer. Getting the Web site noticed in the Internet world was a slow process, involving trial and error and a number of dead-ends. Pay-per-click has turned out to be an expensiive waste of time. Natural Search turned out to be a lot better.
